New Orleans, the city of dreams they say. Only now it's more like the city of nightmares. The city is in chaos, a far cry from its former glory. Curfews have been put in place to keep people off the streets at night, but most people don't want to leave their homes at all. Bodies line the gutters and rot slowly; there's nobody to clean them up now. Humans don't rule this place any more. Ever since one woman dusted off the ancient pages of a magic tome, a seemingly insignificant moment in history, the world was never the same. It was only four years ago that the demons were let loose into the world, killing and burning, taking everything and leaving nothing. But a ray of hope still remains, in the hearts of other creatures that were drawn out of their hiding places by the presence of evil; creatures that only existed in fairy tales until now. The battle for humankind rages on and as of yet, there's no end in sight.
